One of the best ways to get truly connected to a church family is to start serving others inside and outside the family.  As you serve alongside others it gives you the chance to build connections with them and bless others as well.  God has blessed every follower of Jesus with a blend of life experiences, natural abilities, and spiritual gifts so that they can put those things to use serving others for God's glory, other people's good, and their own growth.  Jesus is the perfect model of what it looks like to serve others.
