Living a Good Life during Evil Times- Part 1

Living a good life, a godly life, is not easy...even on our best days. There are times in our lives that we are living in what seems like evil, dark time. These seasons could be long or short. It is easy to want to give up and quit. Join us for our new series teaching through 1 Corinthians in the Bible as we talk about how we can live a good, godly life even when we find ourselves living in a place or time that is dark and evil.

The early followers of Jesus that lived in Corinth lived in a culture and a city that was a mess. The temple of Aphrodite and the geographic location of the city as a port city, with ports on the Eastern and Western side, led to prostitution. The city was a melting pot of ideas and philosophies from around the world as travelling teachers, rabbis, and philosophers made their way through the city debating and teaching.

This is part 1 of the series. The very first thing these followers of Jesus were called to do is stop separating and bickering over which pastor and preacher they liked the best. They are called to come together and be united as one in Jesus so that together they can navigate the challenges of living a good live in evil times.
